Meet The Guide Behind SL Tours

SL Tours is led by Lisolethu Nkcaza, a professional tourist guide who grew up in a rural part of the Eastern Cape before building a career around showing people the country he loves. He holds a formal Tourism qualification, but what really shapes each tour is his personal love of South African history — the stories, context, and small details that turn a drive past a landmark into something you actually remember.

Away from the road, Lisolethu is a devoted husband and father, and it's that same care he brings to every guest. The name "SL Tours" itself carries that personal touch — inspired by his name and his wife's, it's a business built on family as much as on a passion for travel. SL Tours is proudly Black-owned and based right here in Cape Town, run by someone who isn't reciting a script, but sharing a home.
